Donate to the Patrons Fund

Each year since 1928, FAW has awarded monetary prizes to new and deserving writers who are from the Midwest or set their books there. When you donate to the Patrons Fund, you not only help to make these prizes possible, you give an important boost to an emerging writer.

A contribution of $50 entitles you to have your name listed as a Patron in the Annual Awards Luncheon program, with special recognition for donations in the following categories, although FAW appreciates support at amount. You may give "in memory of" or "in honor of" a specific family member or friend. FAW is a 501(c)(3) organization.

• Bronze Patrons: $50 - $99
• Silver Patrons: $100 - $249
• Gold Patrons: $250 - $999
• Platinum Patrons: $1,000 and above

The award fund is split into two categories; the Literature Awards, and the Young People's Literature Awards. Donations are equally divided between the two awards. If you would like your donation applied differently, please specify how you would like the donation applied to each fund.

• Enter your donation amount, name, address, email and payment information. ( you will receive receipt by email of your donation )
• Donations in honor of someone - enter name in the Special Instructions
• Donation allocation - enter how to split the donation in the Special Instructions (% Literature Award, % Young People)
